All common spaces like the garden, dining room and living room are shared. Note that you have a choice of a single or a double room. The accommodation is in one of two beautiful rural hotels: Finca la Fronda or Molinos de Fuenteheridos.

HOW TO GET THERE
GOOD TO KNOW
- Our the cottages editions are mainly for adults but also for children and families.
- Check in is on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm from Sevilla (Santa Justa train station) , and check out is on Friday at 4 pm from la villa.
- All equipment for hiking is provided but bring suitable clothes and footwear.
- No previous hiking experience needed.
- We’ll have a mix of eating out and dining together in true the cottages style. The price for every lunch in different local restaurants is usually around 15-40 EUR (it depends if we prefer to eat in restaurants or bars).
- Carmen will be your local guide for the week, taking you to all our favourite activities.
- As it’s an international retreat all communication will be mainly in English. Carmen also speaks French and Spanish.

Can you attend if you’ve never hiked before?
YES! In la sierra we have hiking trails for beginners as well as for advanced levels.
Are these holidays open to all ages?
Absolutely! We love having a variety of ages. This enriches our group.
Can I come solo?
YES! It’s the perfect place to travel solo to. If you come on your own, you will meet people from all over the world. The most beautiful thing about the cottages is the community you’ll become a part of. It’s so special <3
Are there vegan/vegetarian/celiac options?
Yes! We adjust the menu to allergies and special dietary requests.
Do I have to participate in all the activities?
No, at the cottages, all activities are entirely optional. If you prefer not to participate, you can relax and unwind in the villa at your own pace.
How long are the hikes?
It depends on the day, the energy of the group and the weather but we have trails of between 1 and 3 hours.
Where are most of the people from?
All over! Most of the people are from Europe <3 English is used as the primary language during the week as well as French.
Is there a waitlist?
We don’t have a waitlist. When we launch a new edition, all spots are released at the same time. If the edition you wish to join is full – send us an email and we will contact you in case of a cancellation 🙂
How does payment work?
There is a 50% deposit to pay when booking. The remaining amount is due in situ before the start of the retreat.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a deposit to pay when booking. If cancellation occurs six weeks or more before the start date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made less than six weeks before the start date are not eligible for any refund. If you do want to cancel please get in touch immediately and we will do our best to help.
